Tarot

Tarot is a form of divination that uses a deck of cards to gain insight into the past, present, and future. Each card in a Tarot deck is associated with a specific meaning and interpretation, and when cards are drawn and laid out in a specific pattern, they can reveal patterns and connections that give insight into the question or situation at hand.

A tarot reading is a practice where tarot cards are used to gain insight and understanding about different aspects of one's life like career, love life, family, health etc. It may be used to explore deeper into specific aspects of the individual's life or provide general guidance in a more general sense.

The standard tarot deck has 78 cards divided into two parts: the Major Arcana, which has 22 cards and represents the significant and important aspects of life and the Minor Arcana, which has 56 cards, which is divided into four suits like, Swords, Cups, Wands, and Pentacles. Each card has a specific meaning and interpretation.

During a tarot reading, the individual receiving the reading, often called the "querent," would ask a question or state the subject they want to explore, and the tarot reader, using their knowledge and intuition, would select cards and interpret their meaning in relation to the question or subject. A tarot reading can be a powerful tool for self-discovery and personal growth. However, it's important to keep in mind that the interpretation of the cards can be subjective, and it's always best to remember that ultimately the cards are only a tool and the ultimate power of decision and actions rest with the individual themselves.
